This is a blog post written by Anamaria Weston for students on the BSc Computer Animation and VFX course at Manchester Metropolitan University. The aim is to encourage students to render their characters and props on turntables, using beauty, wireframe and ambient occlusion renders. Hugsy the squirrel is an Animation Mentor rig, and Anamation does now own the rights to it.
